This event organised with Friends World Committee for Consultation (Quakers) brings together young Quakers from around the world to share what is happening in their countries and their hopes for the future. We will hear from Young Quakers in countries including Bolivia, Burundi and the USA, many of whom have direct experience of climate breakdown, such as deforestation, flooding, droughts, or wildfires and exceptionally high temperatures in their region. There will be an opportunity for an open discussion at the end. Quakers of all ages are welcome to attend.
The event is blended online and in person. Young Friends in Scotland can join in person at Glasgow Meeting House, registering on this Eventbrite site.
