Women’s Interfaith Dialogue on Faith Journeys and the Environment- Edinburgh Women’s Interfaith Group

Edinburgh Women’s Interfaith Group invites you to join us for a get together at the Quaker Meeting House during Scottish Interfaith Week.

The event will provide an opportunity for local women to get together and promote understanding and co-operation between diverse religious communities.

It will also offer the opportunity for women to share some of their personal faith journeys as well as to share experiences of lockdown, and talk about the how their local communities came to gather during the pandemic to help elderly and vulnerable members in their community.

Staff from Edinburgh & Lothians Regional Equality Council (ELREC) will provide a workshop on how to recycle everything in to beautiful things to save our mother Earth.

We are also hoping to have a speaker from Edinburgh University, to provide a short video and talk about carbon footprints and our planet.

The event is free and open to all (women and children only). Tea, coffee and juice will be provided.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we can’t serve food, so we will make goody bags for all our guests to take away with them.
